Default February Photo of the Month Comp

The first months comp was a good success and its time for February.

This thread is not meant to replace the galleries they are what they are...this thread is more for those who would like to work on their photography and show some of their efforts to other forum members.

You can submit any type of photo..eg landscape, portrait, macro ,action, fishing etc.

Please keep the thread in the spirit it is meant, post only your own work, please feel free to explain your shots and anyone that has comments on the photos please make them constructive and helpful.

Competition Rules
  • Entrants are to post a photo that they feel best represents the theme.(at this point there is no theme....subject open)
  • Any photo that has been altered (ie: Two or more photos merged into one) will be withdrawn from the final vote, (Unless the theme asks for merged pics).
  • There is no limit as to how many entries can be submitted per person, however only one entry per person will be placed in the end of month vote. If multiple entries are submitted and the person has not stated which one is to be placed in the vote prior to the beginning of voting, the first posted image will be used.
  • Entries can be submitted until the voting thread is created.
  • All site and forum rules still apply.
  • The winner of the previous month's competition may compete in the current month's competition.
  • All submissions must be the work of the poster, anyone proved to be using uploaded images that are not their own will have their entry deleted and NOT be permitted to participate in future photo competitions.
  • Please be aware that there are Copy Rite Laws where images are concerned,so please keep within those Laws for your benefit and for that of the forum.
The thread will close on February 23rd...at which point a 5 day voting poll will open...it will close at the end of the day February 28th.

Good luck to all.

Thumbs up

thanks mate,I lived down SE SA for a bit and found an old book about the river in a market ....it had some great stories of the old boys and their fishing trips years ago.

After I had a read of it and having seen the area it always had me interested.Doubt I'll get back that way but you never know...glad to hear that the system still has some good fish in it though.

This is the view from the dinning room porch of the house I stay at in New Zealand, it is on Lake Rororua. Oops just read the rest of the rules, I guess this one will be removed.
