Default Members Fishing trip .....

Well finally we are ready to let the cat out of the bag.
Jbs and myself are/have organised a weekend fishing trip for members and there families
The venue is APOLLO BAY 2 hours west of melbourne on The Great Ocean Road
The date will be from Saturday 1st may til sunday the 2nd may inclusive
JBS will add a link of where the accomadation is and from there you can make your bookings
We want all those attending to stay in the park we have chosen as this is going to make our job of organising everything more simple.
The park offers very good ammenities and offers cabins vans and camping sites.
The park is also on the main road and only 100 metres from a great surf beach.... I have stayed here before and was very happy with the park.

This is how it will all work

Members will make there own bookings and pay accordingly for themselves and there guests/familes

There is no set plan other than the fishing and the places we have researched for you so you have a good chance of getting some fish.

This will be a very laid back, fun meet and greet and fishing weekend. For those non fishing people attending the trip, there is so much to do and see in Apollo Bay
Horse riding, sight seeing , rock pool exploring, golf, shopping, Dolphin and seal charters, nature walks and much more.
Apollo Bay is a very well known fishing and tourist destination

The types of fish in the bay at this time of year are many ....... Salmon. shark, king george whiting, bream. whiting, couta, sand whiting and much more. The peer also offers very good Squid along with the above metioned species.
This can be a family event or one you wish to do on your own .
JBS or myself are here to help with any querries or concerns you may have and are only to happy to help.
Please feel free to email either of us here.

For those of you who do not own a surf rod, or have never fished the surf before, I will be taking 4 surf rods along and who ever wants to try there hand at surf fishing is more than welcome to use my rods. Not only are we there to meet and greet but im sure many of us would like to experience a different kind of fishing.

Also if members and there guests wish to fly into melbourne we are very happy to make sure you are picked up and dropped of at the airport....Please contact myself or John for more info ....

As Bingles has already stated we are going to Apollo Bay and we have come up with
a place to stay, I have placed a link to the parks facilities page below.

This should be a good get together for everyone as there is so much to do in the area
and staying in the one park it is easy to have a meet and greet before we all head out to enjoy the area.

The sooner we have some interest and get some idea of numbers we can contact the park with regards to this event.

All the same there should be some interest from all the mexicans, crow eaters and southern cockies...lol

Plenty of time smelly, you can fly down and get a lift.... as long as you dont mind riding on the back of a donkey.
